LESSON FLOW

1. Picture  Show page 38 and tell the children this family is going to church on Sunday. Say: “Sunday is a special day.”

2. Walk to church  Walk in a circle and sing to “Fun to Do”: “Going to church is fun to do.”

3. Remember  Sit down and point to your head. Say: “At church we remember and think about Heavenly Father and Jesus.”

4. Quiet song  Sing: “Reverently, quietly, lovingly we think of thee.” Practice being quiet and reverent.

5. At home  Show the family-at-home picture. Pretend to read scriptures, fold arms for prayer, and put hands on heart to show love.

6. Family song & close  Sing “A Happy Family.” Repeat: “Sunday is a day to remember Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.”
