“Jesus Christ created the world for me.”

“Jesus made the sun and stars.”

“Jesus made plants and animals.”

LESSON FLOW

1. Song  Sing “My Heavenly Father Loves Me.” Actions: hear a bird / look at sky / feel rain / feel wind / touch flower.

2. Scripture  Read: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Explain that Heavenly Father had Jesus Christ make the world.

3. Sun & stars  Make a circle over your head for the sun. Open and close hands like twinkling stars.

4. Trees  Show page 34. Point to the trees and stand tall with arms high like trees blowing in the wind.

5. Animals  Point to the animals in the picture. Let the children name animals and make animal sounds.

6. Repeat & close  Say: “Jesus made all these things because He loves us.” Express gratitude for the beautiful world.
