SAY IT SIMPLY
“Heavenly Father loves me.”
“Jesus Christ loves me.”
“They know my name.”
LESSON FLOW
1. Tell the children Say: “Your family loves you. Heavenly Father and Jesus love you even more.” Point to each child and say, “Heavenly Father and Jesus love [name].”
2. Activity verse Do the verse: “Heavenly Father knows me … He knows my name … I know He loves me too.” Use the self, housetop, and hug-self actions.
3. Scripture story Show page 22. Tell how Jesus asked the little children to come to Him. Have the children kneel and bow heads as Jesus prayed for them.
4. Blessing story Say: “Then Jesus blessed each child, one by one, because He loves little children.” Invite the children to hug themselves.
5. Song Sing “I Feel My Savior’s Love.” Actions: hands on heart / arms wide / point to self.
6. Repeat & close Have the children say, “Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me.” Share your testimony that They know and love every child.
