SAY IT SIMPLY
“Baby Jesus is Heavenly Father’s Son.”
“Mary was Jesus’s mother.”
“Heavenly Father sent Jesus to us.”
LESSON FLOW
1. Find the baby Show the Nativity picture and invite the children to find the baby. Say His name together: “Jesus.”
2. Mary and baby Jesus Point to Mary and explain that she was Jesus’s mother.
3. Heavenly Father’s Son Tell the children that baby Jesus was Heavenly Father’s Son.
4. Show the Savior grown Display a picture of Jesus Christ as an adult and explain that the baby Jesus grew up to be our Savior.
5. Song Sing “He Sent His Son.” Point to the baby Jesus picture, then to the Savior picture.
6. Repeat & close Invite the children to say, “Jesus Christ is the Son of Heavenly Father.” Share a simple Christmas testimony.
