“Jesus Christ was resurrected.”

“Jesus is alive.”

“Because of Jesus, we will live again.”

LESSON FLOW

1. Tell the story simply  Show the Resurrection picture. Explain that after Jesus died, His friends were sad and His body was placed in a tomb.

2. Roll the stone  Have the children pretend to roll away a big, heavy stone from the tomb.

3. Three days  Let the children hold up three fingers. Then say that Jesus came back to life.

4. Happy faces  Tell the children that Mary saw Jesus first and was very happy. Ask them to make happy faces.

5. Song  Sing “Did Jesus Really Live Again?” and do simple actions.

6. Repeat & close  Say together, “Jesus Christ was resurrected.” Testify that because of Him, everyone will live again.
