LESSON FLOW
1. Show the book Hold up the Book of Mormon. Let the children say “Book of Mormon.”
2. Jesus came to earth Show the Nativity picture. Explain that the Book of Mormon teaches that Jesus was born and came to help us.
3. Jesus blessed children Show the picture of Jesus with children. Say that Jesus loved the little children and blessed them.
4. Jesus healed people Show the healing picture. Explain that Jesus helped sick and hurting people feel better.
5. Scripture action Have the children hold hands open like a book and say, “The Book of Mormon teaches me about Jesus Christ.”
6. Song & close Sing “Search, Ponder, and Pray” or repeat a simple line about loving the scriptures. Bear testimony that the Book of Mormon teaches of Jesus Christ.
