SAY IT SIMPLY
“Heavenly Father has a plan for me.”
“I lived with Heavenly Father before I came here.”
“Jesus helps me go back to Heavenly Father.”
LESSON FLOW
1. Start the song-story Sing: “I am a child of God, and he has sent me here.” Tell the children we lived with Heavenly Father before we were born.
2. Hooray Say: “Heavenly Father told us we would come to earth. We were so happy we shouted for joy!” Let the children say, “Hooray!”
3. Family picture Show page 14. Say: “We came to earth to live with a family who loves us.” Invite the children to hug themselves.
4. Song line Sing: “Has given me an earthly home with parents kind and dear.” Then say: “Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and keep His commandments.”
5. Jesus picture Show Jesus on page 98. Sing: “Teach me all that I must do to live with him someday.” Explain that Heavenly Father chose Jesus to help us return.
6. Sing & close Sing the whole verse with both pictures. Testify that Heavenly Father has a happy plan for His children.
