“Sharing is kind.”
“Sharing makes people happy.”
LESSON FLOW
1. Song Sing the chorus of “I’m Trying to Be like Jesus.” Remind the children that sharing is one way to be kind.
2. Demonstration Practice sharing by handing an object to another person and saying, “I will share.” Let the children repeat the words.
3. Picture 1 Show the girl sharing her doll. Say: “She shares with her friend, and both are happy.” Invite the children to say, “I will share.”
4. Picture 2 Show the boy sharing his toys. Say: “He shares his toys, and both are happy.” Repeat the words together.
5. Song Sing “Sharing with you is fun to do” to the tune of “Fun to Do” while pretending to share with the children.
6. Repeat & close Have the children say, “I will share.” Tell them Heavenly Father is happy when we share.
